Replacement Amalgator® Crematorium Nedermaas (Geleen) 10-2-2004
At the Crematorium Nedermaas (Geleen) from DELA, the in 1999 installed filter type Amalgator® has been replaced by a filter installation from Facultatieve Technologies. The Amalgator® was installed on top of the roof and cleaned the flue gasses from only one cremator. The filter from Facultatieve Technologies is housed in the cellar of the Crematorium in a room next to the Cremators and cleans up the flue gasses from both cremators in use. DELA ordered this replacement in July 2002, where after the installation has been put in operation in the beginning of 2003. April 2003 the emission of the new installation has been tested by Tauw Milieu, Deventer and compared to the legislation from the new NeR. Out of this comparison it was proven, that Crematorium Nedermaas is the first crematorium - not being a new crematorium – within The Netherlands, which meets completely the new demands as laid down in the NeR (Netherlands Emission Regulations). The installation is in use now for more than a year to the complete satisfaction of its users. Facultatieve Technologies would like to thank DELA for their confidence. The pictures show from top to bottom the in 1999 installed filter, type Amalgator®, the cooler of the new filter installation and the filter enclosure with the reagent station.
