A decree issued on 28 January 2010 and published on 16 February 2010 in the French Official Journal, lays down new regulations on emissions for crematoria in France. This decree sets down precise limits for the maximum quantities of pollutants that can be emitted into the atmosphere during a cremation.
All French crematoria will have to comply with this change in the law by 2018. In anticipation of this change, and to meet environmental concerns, Facultatieve Technologies has been offering filtration and flue gas treatment solutions for a number of years which will respond to this requirement.
