New Cremation Facility in Verona – Italy 6-4-2004
Facultatieve Technologies are very proud to announce the latest, and largest installation in Italy for Azienda Gestione Edifici Comunali (AGEC) del Comune di Verona.Having successfully won the public tender issued during the summer of 2003, Facultatieve Technologies have been awarded the major works to supply and install a new Cremation Facility within an existing Cemetery location in Verona.The installation essentially comprises 2 FTII cremator ovens, automated coffin loading system, complete with a single dedicated Flue Gas Filtration Installation. The filter system will ensure that the facility complies with the very onerous atmospheric emission requirements now requested throughout Italy. The cremation facility benefits from a PLC based control system, which controls the equipment as an integrated plant. PC based SCADA operator interfaces are supplied, together with an additional Supervisor PC station fitted with remote technical support technology. The whole cremation system operates fully automatically, with the minimum of operator intervention. In addition Facultatieve Technologies can advise that the total integrated installation is fully “CE” certified, and conforms to the current European norms.Work is currently under way, and installation works on site will commence during the summer, with commissioning and putting operation later in the autumn, with the project due to be handed over with December 04. At this point we believe “AGEC” will be the latest proud owners of the most modern cremation installation within Italy.
