Facultatieve Technologies have recently received an order from the Westerleigh Group to supply one FTIII cremator, one FTII cremator and one dedicated double filter for Westerleigh Crematorium (see picture below).
The FTIII has a wider charging door than the FTII cremator and will allow Westerleigh Crematorium to accept larger coffins than previously.
The equipment is due to be installed in separate phases, with the first phase operational within 2006 and to be fully operational by Summer 2007.
This order from Westerleigh is one of five mercury abated installations which Facultatieve Technologies are installing in the UK, all of which conform to the latest Process Guidance notes PG5/4(04) amended by the AQ1(05) note published by DEFRA. All these mercury abatement systems are of the same technology used by Facultatieve Technologies throughout Europe with much success.
Please contact our sales team in Leeds if you have any queries on this new legislation or need advice on what equipment changes will be needed to comply.
